Vertical lip lines, sometimes called "smoker's lines" or talking, eating, drinking lines, are those fine vertical creases that form just above the lip border. They develop over time from a combination of repetitive lip movement (like pursing, sipping through straws, or smiling) and the natural loss of collagen and elasticity that comes with aging. For a lot of people, these lines become more noticeable when applying lipstick or lip gloss, since product can settle into the creases.
For this treatment, filler was placed directly along the vertical lines to provide structural support to the skin itself, helping to smooth and strengthen the areas prone to creasing. A conservative amount was also placed along the vermillion border to support natural lip shape and definition. The result is softer, smoother skin texture above the lip, with a naturally refreshed look that still looks like you.
